In view of the imminent Easter holidays and the other long weekends in April, it should be remembered that for about three and a half years, once the legal disputes on patent issues have been resolved (we were talking about it here, yet the game is not completely closed), about fifteen hundred kilometers of highways have been gradually reactivated i speed detection systems commonly referred to as tutors o Safety guardian, through which the traffic police can identify and sanction motorists who exceed the authorized limits. WHICH AUTOSTRADE 2023 PROFESSORS ARE ACTIVE

THE highway tutors are automatic sensing devices that measure average speed of a vehicle in a given section instead of instantaneous speed like radars do. SPEED LIMITS ON THE MOTORWAY: PENALTIES FOR THOSE WHO DON’T RESPECT THEM

We remind you that according to article 142 of the highway code, the maximum speed on the motorway cannot exceed 130 km/h (even if on sections with three lanes in each direction of traffic, managers can increase it to 150 km/h, subject to notification). Limit that drops to 110km/h in the presence of atmospheric precipitation of any kind. For the novice drivers the limit on the highway in the first three years of driving is rather 100 km/h. THE punishments provided for those who exceed these limits are as follows:

• good of 42 to 173 euro for those who exceed the limits by no more than 10 km/h;
• good of 173 to 695 euro + deduction of three driving license points for exceeding the limits from 11 to no more than 40 km/h;
• good of 544 to 2,174 euro + suspension of the license from one to three months + reduction of ten points of the driving license for exceeding the limits of 41 to 60 km/h maximum;
• good of 847 to 3,389 euro + suspension of license from six to twelve months + reduction of ten driving license points for exceeding the limits of more than 60 km/h.

Penalties imposed on novice drivers provide for the double deduction of points.

And now we come to the list of motorway tutors active in 2023. The traffic police periodically update the number and location of active devices.
