In 2023, with those of the State, many local car incentives are available: let’s see what you can buy between electric cars and other green vehicles
As state car incentives continue, even though funds for ICE engines have already run out, some are available at the same time local car incentiveswhich have the great advantage of being able can be combined with government contributions. This means that in some cases, especially for the purchase of electric cars with the scrapping of an old polluting vehicle, the overall discount can reach or even exceed the figure of 10 thousand euros.
LOCAL CAR INCENTIVES: PIEDMONT REGION
The region Piedmont made available until April 30, 2023unless funds are exhausted, nearly 7 million euros for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with local operating units in the territory which intend to renew their vehicle fleet by choosing greener models. To benefit from these regional car incentives, against the contextual scrapping of an old vehicle, are company vehicles (M1, M2, M3, N1, N2, N3) whose emissions are not lower than Euro class 6d Temp, purchased or leased, for a maximum of 10 units per agency. Pure electric, hydrogen, hybrid (petrol/electric, full hybrid or plug-in hybrid), exclusive methane/LNG, exclusive LPG, petrol, methane or dual-fuel LPG vehicles (petrol/methane and petrol/LPG) are eligible. 130 kW or 100 kW (if electric). LOCAL CAR INCENTIVES: PROVINCE OF TRENTE
In the autonomous province of Trento methods of encouraging the purchase of new pure electric M1 motor vehicles by individuals (individuals), with a list price not exceeding 50,000 euros excluding tax, are only possible against the context disposal or replacement polluting M1 motor vehicles (petrol or diesel up to Euro 5). The contribution amounts to 3,000 euros in the event of scrapping and 2,000 in the event of replacement. The request to benefit from automotive incentives in Trentino must be submitted within 90 days of the date of registration of the electric vehicle, using the appropriate IT platform. Learn more here.
LOCAL CAR INCENTIVES: PROVINCE OF BOLZANO
In the province of Bozen (Alto Adige or South Tirol) individuals can benefit from contributions up to a maximum of one electric vehicle every two years for motor vehicles (including hydrogen and plug-in hybrids), mopeds, motorcycles and cargo bikes. The request must be submitted online before the date of issue of the invoice, including the deposit. As in Trento, vehicles cannot have a total cost of more than 50,000 euros, excluding VAT. The incentive consists of a contribution of 2,000 euros for the purchase of electric or hydrogen cars, 1,000 euros for plug-in hybrids with CO2 emissions of less than 70 g/km, and a 30% discount on the purchase of electric motorcycles or mopeds (up to 1,000 euros) or electric cargo bikes with a minimum total capacity of 150 kg (up to 1,500 euros). LOCAL CAR INCENTIVES: MUNICIPALITY OF GENOA
This time, the incentive is not regional but municipal. The Municipality of Genoain Liguria, last December allocated more than 18 million euros over three years for the purchase, with compulsory demolition, of motor vehicles, including taxis and NCCs, commercial vehicles, mopeds, motorcycles and electric bicycles with zero or low environmental impact, up to a maximum contribution of 9,000 euros. Private citizens and self-employed persons with a VAT number residing in Genoa, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and entities of the tertiary sector with their registered and operational headquarters in the Ligurian capital can benefit from it. The Municipality of Florence decided to reopen the tender also in 2023 local car incentives, aimed at citizens and companies, for the purchase of ecological vehicles with low environmental impact, to be precise electric, hybrid, LPG and methane. You have until June 30 to request the contribution and if you buy an electric car with scrapping the discount is a good 7,500 euros, which can be combined with the 5,000 euros of the State Ecobonus for a total saving of 12,500 euros.
