Hyundai Motor Group presented a automatic charging robot (ACR) for electric vehicles developed to simplify the charging of electric cars in low light conditions, but above all to assist people with disabilities at the charging station. Hyundai Group R&D engineers built a large-scale outdoor electric vehicle charging station at the R&D center and evaluated its performance under various conditions. After several tests, the ACR has achieved a waterproof and dustproof rating of IP65, and according to Hyundai, its performance has been improved to be used stably even in extreme environments.
