Why would you recommend a workshop to other motorists? Here are the results of the survey of the most important factors in Italy
There confidence for the mechanic which fixes all family cars is the main reason why we often go to the same garage over and over again. But what are the criteria that come into play when you have to start from scratch? an interesting investigation ordered by a well-known lubricant company, asked a sample of motorists Italians, what they appreciate when they have to recommend the workshop to their friends and family contact for maintenance.
CAR MAINTENANCE UNDER WARRANTY OR WITHOUT WARRANTY, YOU CAN DO IT WHEREVER YOU WANT
The habit of motorists to rely on manufacturer’s authorized network when the car is new, it is usually kept at least for the entire warranty period. According to a previous survey by the Autopromotec Observatory, already 3 years after registration, 53% no longer do so in concessions. Clarified this aspect on which there is still confusion for fear of losing the manufacturer’s warranty, let’s see on the basis of which criteria Italian motorists they recommend a workshop. Cost is not the primary motivation for 1,000 owners of vehicles in Italy that participated in the survey. Which is plausible, given that – as we too have always maintained – contacting a competent and up-to-date mechatronics specialist capable of carrying out an accurate diagnosis of the problem, is the first prerequisite for returning to driving. an efficient car without having to return to the workshop several times.
THE BEST AUTOMOTIVE WORKSHOP ACCORDING TO THE ITALIANS: WHY THEY RECOMMEND IT
The most important aspect for the Italian motorists interviewed in the Castrol survey who recommend the workshop to their friends and relatives is the transparency of the car repairer. This is the factor most cited by the interviewees, in 27% cases, the workshop personnel who “explains comprehensively and in person the work performed”. Some of the most important reasons include:
- good relationship price quality26%;
- explain clearly fresh, 23%;
- the staff is courteous22%;
- explain the work to be done ask permission to continue before executing it, 22%;
- only performs the strictly necessary interventions21%;
- provides a courtesy car to customers, 6%;
- has a waiting room with vending machines drinks hot and cold, 4%;
- offer the free WIFI waiting customers, 3%.
