Thanks to car incentives 2023, it is possible buy an electric car benefiting from a reduction on the total expense. This is an option that should not be underestimated because it can significantly reduce the cost of switching to a zero-emission vehicle. By resorting to the scrapping of a used car (at least Euro 6), it is possible to obtain an additional discount, reaching save up to 5,000 euros on expenses. INCENTIVES FOR ELECTRIC CARS: HOW THEY WORK

To save money on the purchase of an electric car, it is possible to use the automotive incentives 2023. In particular, for electric cars, two options are available, until funds are exhausted. The Ecobonus can be equal to:

  • €5,000 with scrapping of an M1 vehicle at least Euro 6
  • €3,000 without disposal

In addition, it must be considered that the legislation establishes a lspending limit: an electric car can only be purchased with incentives if its list price is equal to or less than €35,000 (excluding VAT, IPT and ground clearance). DACIA SPRING

The first electric car to buy at a discount with the incentives is the Dacia Spring, one of the benchmark models in the zero-emission mobility sector. Dacia’s ultra-compact crossover is about 3.7 meters long, but guarantees 4 “real” seats on board. From a technical point of view, the Daci Spring is equipped with an electric motor of 45hp which is paired with a battery of 26.8 kWh. In terms of autonomy, the Dacia car is able to cover approximately 230 kilometers in the WLTP mixed cycle. Considering an exclusively urban use, on the other hand, the autonomy amounts to 305 kilometers. In addition, thanks to fast charging, it is possible to recover up to 80% autonomy in less than an hour. On the Italian market, the Dacia Spring leaves from 21,450 euros. Thanks to the contribution of the incentives, the tariff is reduced to €16,450. There are also richer fillings capable of guaranteeing a greater endowment.

RENAULT TWINGO ELECTRIC

Another cheap electric car to buy thanks to car incentives is the Renault Twingo Electric. The city car of the French house, approximately 3.61 meters long, is available on the market with an engine of 81 hp which is paired with a battery of 22 kWh. In terms of autonomy, the Renault city car is able to guarantee up to 270 kilometers of travel in the urban cycle, while in the mixed cycle the autonomy is reduced to 190 kilometers. In addition, thanks to the presence of fast charging, it is possible to recover up to 80% of autonomy in just 30 minutes of rest. On the Italian market, the Renault Twingo Electric is available at the price of €24,050. With incentives, this amounts to €19,050. There are, however, some richer configurations to increase the endowment.

SMART EQ FOR TWO

SMART EQ FORTWO CONVERTIBLE

There ForTwo Smart Equalizer, equipped with a two-seater passenger compartment and also available in a convertible version, is one of the symbols of urban mobility, thanks to the ease of use due to the reduced length of 2.69 meters. From a technical point of view, the car is equipped with an engine of 82hp which is accompanied by a battery of 17.6 kWh. The range in the combined cycle is approx. 135 kilometers and with fast charging, it takes 40 minutes to go from 10% to 80% charge. In Italy it is possible to buy the Smart EQ ForTwo at the starting price of €25,210. With the incentives, therefore, the car starts from €20,210. there is also the version Convertible how much does it cost €28,577.

DR 1.0EV

Another cheap but not uninteresting electric car is the DR 1.0EV. DR Automobiles’ first electric car is 3.2 meters long even though it manages to offer a four-seater cabin, with some compromises for those seated behind. From a technical point of view, the city car is equipped with an engine of 61 hp which is combined with a battery of 31kWhcapable of guaranteeing an autonomy of approx. 210 kilometers in the mixed cycle. In the Italian market, DR’s electric car is expensive €26,900. Thanks to the incentives, it is therefore possible to reduce the price up to €21,900.

FIAT 500

There Fiat 500 it is one of the reference models of the zero emission market in Italy. Presented in 2020, Fiat’s electric car comes in three variants (in addition to the sedan there is also the Cabrio and the 3+1). Approximately 3.61 meters long, the electric car from Fiat is equipped with a 95 hp which is combined with a battery of 23.65 kWh able to guarantee the autonomy of 190 kilometers. There is also a variant with a significantly longer range thanks to a 42 kWh battery. For the Fiat 500 the price list starts from 28,950 euros. Thanks to the incentives, therefore, it is possible to buy electric cars at Fiat from 23,950 euros. There are several other variants in the price list, considering both the other two body variants and the version with a larger battery.
