Honda presented its latest SUV e:Ny1 fully electric in Offenbach, Germany. It is the second battery-powered model, after the Honda city car and, among the cars that depreciate the least according to the ADAC, but the most strategic for the European market. Here are all Honda e:Ny1 features Insight.
HONDA E:NY1 ELECTRIC PLATFORM
Honda e:Ny1 is an SUV designed to meet the growing demand for Commercial vehicles Of B-segment built on a dedicated platform, connectivity and innovative materials. Aesthetically, it stands out for the introduction of white “H” badges around the vehicle, including the emblem on the nose, hubcaps and steering wheel. On the tailgate, however, the Honda writing fully follows the canons of premium competition. Under the body, the e:Ny1 offers advanced technologies, according to the manufacturer’s predictions. The platform integrates a three-in-one power supply high performance, where the electric motor and the “gearbox” form a single body. The drive unit develops a maximum power of 150kW and 310Nm of torque and is designed to promote smooth, comfortable acceleration and deceleration.
HONDA E:NY1 BATTERY LIFE
THE interior of Honda e:Ny1 are based on an all-new center console with an easily accessible button layout, multiple storage options and wireless smartphone charging. While the dashboard is surmounted by a large 15.1 inch touch screen provides access to a full suite of infotainment and driving options. The standard equipment provides under the floor a Li-ion battery with range up to 412 km (WLTP cycle) and DC fast charging capability that can boost the battery from 10% to 80% in 45 minutes. The new Honda e:Ny1 is built on Honda’s new e:N Architecture F, a front-engine platform centered around three hallmark Honda features:
- structure of the shell dedicated to high rigidity;
- center of gravity down;
- aerodynamic of the carefully developed floor.
HONDA E:NY1 BUILT WITH HIGH-TENSILE STEEL
