FORD TO LAUNCHE 10 ALL-ELECTRIC VEHICLES BY 2024 WITH COURIER E-TOURNEO

THE Ford E-Tourneo Courier is a of the 10 100% electric vehicles that Ford will launch in Europe by 2024with the goal of exclusively selling zero-emission vehicles by 2035. The company has $50 billion investmentglobally, by 2026 reach the production of more than 2 million 100% electric vehicles in the same year. Ford says the E-Tourneo Courier has been developed from a blank slate to combine style, space and functionality, wrapped up in a compact, easy-to-handle vehicle. The overhangs are short and the simple lines reinforce the visual breadth and robust image of the exterior. The front of the electric versions is characterized by a light bar from coast to coast with a futuristic look and a distinctive Ford chrome grille.

FORD E-TOURNEO COURIER INTERIOR AND CONNECTIVITY

E-Tourneo Courier has been developed to transport up to five adults and their luggage, with optimized practicality thanks to 60-40 split rear seats it’s a 44% more boot space compared to the previous model. Increased headroom and optimized space provide a more comfortable cabin for passengers as well as multiple storage spaces, including a configurable center console, a “secret” compartment and a 44 liter trunk. The in-car digital experience is centered around the innovative “digiboard” instrument cluster which features a fully digital instrument panel and a SYNC 4 multimedia system controlled via the large 12 inch touch screen. Connectivity is guaranteed by compatibility with Android Auto and Apple Car Play and over-the-air software updates. A wireless charger for smartphones is also on board.

FORD E-TOURNEO COURIER POWER PLATFORM, CHARGE AND LAUNCH DATE

THE electric motor of the Ford E-Tourneo Courier from 100 kW (136 HP) allows you to travel even in Driving mode One pedal, selectable by the driver. You can choose between modes rolls Normal, Eco and Slippery. The vehicle can be recharged at charging stations. 11 kW AC or up to 100 kW DC. With DC charging, customers can add 87km of range in just 10 minutes and they’re good to go 10 to 80% charge in less than 35 minutes. The E-Tourneo Courier will be produced in Craiova, Romania, from the second half of 2024, as well as the Puma crossover which will have a 100% electric variant by 2024. The 100% electric version of the Ford Tourneo will arrive in Europe in 2024, following the launch of the Tourneo Courier with EcoBoost petrol engine, which will be available to order from this summer, with the first deliveries at the end of 2023.
